this dress has a tiny bit of lydia in it, the rest are rectangular pieces of fabric draped and pleated into shape. i didn’t use a pattern and most certainly learned that patterns are your friend – it took me forever to get this right.
stretchy fabric from the old greuter fabrics fabric store in switzerland. the wonderful owner of an old textile mill took me and my mom into the basement where i found this wonderful fabric. i think i got the ribbon at m&j trimmings in nyc
