Burda Style For people who sew

I had some fabric from previous projects and thought the Heidi dress would suit the geometric patterns in these 2 fabrics. For the black dress I made my own belt, much more simplified than the heidi belt, still wasn’t finished in these pics so I am trying to hold it in place! I love this pattern, will be making more! Sorry my pics aren’t the best!

I read the name of your project, glanced at the photo of the original, remembered that I didn’t like it too much… and then had to open the original project up, because I simply couldn’t believe my own eyes! First thought in my head: “Wow, these are some nice warmer weather dresses!” Second thought: “Wait… This is Heidi???” That’s when I opened the original. Yes, it is Heidi. And no, I don’t dislike it – I LOVE it now in your versions!!! Beautiful fabric choices and beautiful work! Love the belt, too!!!
