My friends were hosting a fancy dress party this Halloween & instead of my usual lack of effort & enthusiasm (grabbing the first thing that comes to hand at the fancy dress shop) I decided I’d put my new found skills to good use & make my own costume
Was really please with how it turned out as it’s the first time I’ve tried my hand at making a pattern… I can’t take all the credit… I used the ‘basic bodice pattern block’ & ‘basic sleeve pattern’ that GEDWOODS kindly put on the site…. thank you gedwoods… your a life saver!!!
Anyhow after a few attempts at drawing it out I finally cracked it & hey presto I have my first fully made to measure dress (albeit a costume)

Much better than some “store” costumes of the kind!!! I love it! And the make-up is definitely appropriate!!! ;-)
