Another dress with a cut out back, this time heart shaped! I’d seen a few dresses like this around the place and decided I’d try to make my own. It actually came together quicker than I thought it would, which was nice! The top part of the back is kept together with loops of ribbon and buttons.
I used the coffee date dress pattern, cut out the heart shape from the back pieces, and lined the whole top part.
Cotton fabric, buttons, ribbon, zip

I might give it a go then! :) Make a corset! It’s fiddly and it hurts your hands but it’s so worth it. I mostly make them for myself, but I’ve sold a few now and you can make a little bit of money too :)

This is so sweet! I love heart cut-outs and I’ve been meaning to try one. Is it quite simple?

I don’t think it’s too hard, I’m far from an expert at sewing but I managed to figure it out. By the way I had a look at your projects and I totally want to try making a corset now!
