Burda Style For people who sew
Description
I have wanted to make a heart cut out back dress for ages and finally got around to it! I made it from Sophia double knit which is a bit like ponte knit but I prefer the quality. I only had a yard of fabric which made it quite short! I drafted the pattern myself using muslin and my dress form for the first time. Usually I make patterns from paper then test them. I think the fit turned out great and in the end was a lot less work than making the paper first so I think I will be doing a lot more draping in the future.
