plaited headbands made from long strips of unfinished fabric.
the ones with the flowery ruffles are made by pinching together circle shaped pieces of fabric.
I tried to find the source of where i learnt to do this so i could share and not feel like i stole someone else’s idea but i cant find it anywhere :( sorry

oh, they are hand sewn on. you put 2 circles together then make them a bit like a cone shape by folding then in themselves so its like a 1/4 of a circle.. sort of. then push the needles through all layers and onto the headband. they should only need a few stitches each and you can stitch in different direction to make the flowers sit how you want

Love the colours – these would look great with some gold and used in an up-do!

yes very nice idea. they could be made to be put on hair pins and inserted into the hair.
