Ok, so I may have made this dress yesterday in blue (‘an apple a day’ dress) but I couldn’t wait to give it a go in red. This time I got rid of the skirt that comes with the pattern, and made a short, circle skirt instead. Little bit Minnie Mouse, little bit orphan Annie.
Once again I’m very lucky to have my fancy pants fiance taking the photos, who’s turning into a bit of a talent that young man.

This dress, like the last one, is beautiful! I know you said it was from the #7494 pattern, but was it an online burdastyle pattern? If so, what is its name? I looked for it on the website but couldn’t find it :(!!

Hi Clairesophie, thanks for your comment. The pattern is a printed burda pattern and I’m pretty sure it’s one of their new ones so there should be plenty out there.. I bought it from a store here in Melbourne. Try googling the pattern number and you should be able to buy it online. I know you can get it at sewing.patternreview.com
Good luck!

So sweet. And most impressed that you managed to start and finish it the same day! I think I prefer the circle skirt but they are both so lovely.
