I have been working on these fold-over clutches and simple zipper pouches for a while now. Many lessons have been learnt along the way: Industrial sewing machines HATE metal zips as much as domestic ones, hours of print and pattern alignment causes intense and lasting psychosis, brief lapses of attention caused by sleep deprivation/wine/christmas stress can be fatal to your sewing project, even if it is just a glorified square. Oh yes, and getting so stressed that you start screeching at those around you like a banshee is just going to make you look like an idiot. Every day’s a school day!
