When I made this dress I thought yay! this will be perfect for my honeymoon in Hawaii at the end of the year. Its a lightweight, knit material, loose fitting, stylish asd easy to throw over a pair of swimmers after going to the beach or pool.
I ended up making the dress a long version for the even more comfortable look where you don’t have to worry about white legs!
This is a Vogue Pattern, easy to construct and no complications making this dress.

This is a lovely dress too. Where do you buy fabrics like this in Brisbane??? I am finding it hard to buy nice knits in Brisbane.

Thank you!! You wouldn’t believe it but I have been getting most of my best fabrics from Spotlight!! They have been impressing me heaps lately. I never used to go there but find heaps there now! Logan Spotlight is probably the neatest hehe.

Thanks for that. My closest is Mt Gravatt and I do have a love/hate relationship with them so maybe I should drive down the M1 to Logan as your fabrics are really lovely. It is so hot again today and I have just had a swim and I think that is what I will do all day, so there won’t be much sewing getting done!!
