Description

Something I slapped together from the leftovers of my “Danielle”. Really just a big rectangle, but draped and sewn into interesting shapes. The feathery fascinator (also my work ;-)) is detachable.

I agree. It does look very 1920 flapper style. I love it.

This looks very cool, love the fabric! I am eager to make something like this for a 1920s evening soon… how did you make the fascinator?

Took a piece of lace band (20 cm x 6 cm), sewed a piece of thread very loosely through it on one side, then ruffled it up into a bunch.
Tied a few plastic feathers together with wire, then sewed wire bundle on lace bunch, and finally attached the little metal star (it comes from an earring, originally). That’s really all ;)
