New York, New Yo...
This dress was my final project for my draping class. It was inspired by Elsa Schiaparelli, Surrealism, and Rene Magritte. It is the first project I’ve ever made with any kind of structure, so it was definitely a learn-as-you-go project. I’d love to know what you think!
See my blog post about it here:
Wool suiting, boning, buckram, stiff interfacing, ribbons, feathers, aluminum window screen (used in the brim)
Find your favorite fantasy silhouette in body-skimming satin and frothy tulle.
