Saphir, Amethyste, Emeraude, Rubis, Topaze – these are the hats that make up my collection Jewels – Hiver 1951. The collection is inspired by vintage hats and head pieces from the 1930s, 1940s and the 1950s – the golden age of couture and millinery. The colour scheme is from an old poster showing the colours for the winter season of 1951 – Hiver 1951 – from Paris and almost all of the material is vintage.
