This is my second Harwood Steiger dress from one of his vintage silk screen designs on linen. I love his work. I always hold my breath when cutting into any of his pieces. Just because his work is not always readily available and I worry that the dress pattern I choose may not be the best match for the design. I like this combination though. Such a pretty color. It seems to show more coral than red in the photos. I think vintage dress patterns suit his style very well.
Second time using this dress pattern as well. It’s a vintage McCall’s, # 6566, with a couple of variations. I fully lined the dress and added the little black belt, which is sewn on.
