Description
My version of the Itty Bitty Bag. A reversible one with pink elastic for the loop closure.
I have also made another with the zip installation but there’s not image of that yet.
I found the zipper instructions very useful.
Here’s my tips:
- Use interfacing if you are using cotton or thin materials. It’s easy to iron on this pattern since it’s a square :) I would pleat the material before sewing up the edges especially if you are making a small (very itty bitty) version.
-
— Rather than cutting a hole in the bottom to reverse the bag to right side I just backstitched and ripped open a side seam, reversed it through there and then used invisible stitching to close the seam so there was no extra visible seam inside the bag.
