Adaptation of the Danielle dress, based on the Country Bumpkin Picnic Dress by billyboredpants. I made it for a wedding. Basically elongated the bodice, added a thicker band and a boxpleated skirt (my first). I figured since the fabric was sort of see through, I would add another layer of the same fabric but in a different colour. The other colour was used as a contrast for the waistband and peaked out at the bottom (about 2 cm or so). I got complimented a lot, so that was nice. I have not worn it often, since it is getting cold outside. It took me a week of evenings (finding the positioning of the waistband was a chore by myself) and the Saturday before the weddingparty that night. I think it turned out quite nice.
Do not know my material types yet (sorry), some kind of cotton? Colour was printed on, it was white on the back.
