Ann Arbor, Michi...
Cushy laptop sleeve from Elizabeth’s excellent tutorial on Sew, Mama, Sew! The instructions are very clear and well-illustrated. I feel so much better traveling with my laptop now that it has its own soft carrier. And this fabric makes me smile every time I see it. I used two colors in my twin needle whenever topstitching was required and added a line of decorative topstitching to the bottom. I opted for bottom corners a bit sharper than in the tutorial.
Shell: heavy weight cotton from Japan, a gift from my brother-in-law and his girlfriend
Lining: cotton flannel from my stash
Interlining: fusible fleece
Closure: sew-in Velcro
