New Look 6407 has become my go-to blouse pattern (sorry, Burda! I still love you!). I modified the sleeve on it to get this, and was thrilled that it actually turned out the way I wanted, since I’m still working on teaching myself to modify patterns! I was also happy that the plaids ended up fairly matched…

Nice shirt! I love the Newlook 6407 pattern – I just finished making a shirt with it and it turned out pretty good…yours is nicer though since I made a few mistakes but hopefully next time it will turn out as neat as yours. I love the sleeves too!

Thank you! And it’s really easy to make mistakes on a new pattern, so don’t get discouraged! (If it makes you feel better, this is the third time I’ve used this pattern.)

Well, not quite perfect, but I was pretty happy with how it turned out overall.
