Description
I am working on two anda versions and I’ve finished one – the more casual one. The formal version is still in the works. I placed a little peek-a-boo hole at the back and some pleats on the neckline to add volume at the top. I dropped the waistline elastics to the hips. The edges of the sleeves and hem are raw and finished with a twin needle embroidery. I messed up a bit on the neckline since I made it too wide to give way to the bias ribbon :( One last thing, I added in seam pockets (thanks Nayantara for the how-tos!
Material Notes
linen-cotton and stretch cotton for the ribbon

Your alternation is such a success! I love everything about this and think the Anda is otherwise quite boring compared to your creation…I remember seeing the Anda in a different light with a bold pattern fabric, but this is way better!

i really like the neckline, with that draping bow. i think the waistline would be weird on the wrong person, but it works with your frame.
good work!

I’m glad you all liked it :) Thanks! Backie: I opened up the neckline a bit which is why it’s a little wide and has pleats, but for a beginner, I would suggest that you just take off around two inches from the shoulder to make a wider neckline.

AAAAAAAAARGH! I love it!!! You look great in it. It has a great sorta 1920’s flapper vibe with the drop waist and the floppy-bow neckline.
