A little cardigan that evokes the forties but is actually based on a Patons pattern from 1975. I followed the instructions for the back and fronts to the letter but changed the form of the sleeves drastically: the pattern had long sleeves, which I didn’t have enough yarn for.
I had to knit six sleeves before I managed to get one that I liked and that left me with enough yarn to knit the rest of the cardigan!
The yarn and daisy buttons are both from my stash.
Yarn: Schachenmayr Nomotta Extra – 100% New Wool (superwash).
Buttons: Veritas – plastic.
Pattern: Patons International 1975 – Cardigan 18.
