Burda Style For people who sew
Description
I had said i wanted an Anda with a big skirt and a plain top after my last one.. BUT this turned out quite differently. I was looking for a new neckline, and found the “Heidi Variation Prom Dress”, and used that.
Then while it was long (below knee) everyone told me i looked silly, even though i thought it was cute! SO i gave in to shortening the skirt, but kept the skirt full rather than slimming it like last time.
I also used the bias strips as a trimming on the outer edge of neck/arms.
My other change was the elastic casing was moved to the inside of the dress, without tie bands. I quite like it :)

I printed off the Heidi prom variation, and using the front-top half only, i layed it on top of the anda front, putting it where i found it to match up best. I didn’t change the sleeves to my memory, i did use the bias tape as an edge for them though. It is possible i slightly altered them in the way of the Heidi dress, but i don’t think so! What i did do was sew the sleeves furthur up under the arm, making them tighter, and taking in the shoulder seam to also make the top less puffy. If you do that, make sure you can still get in/out of the dress before you sew it too high! :) GOODLUCK don’t know how good my explaination was!!
