I enjoyed making my first skirt, though it is a bit big and sits lower than intended. I did this to learn pleating, very interesting to make!
The instructions for this, in my opinion, need alot of improvement. There is little direction in how to do the pleats and when to hem – the pictures say more than the words! I’ll help anyone needing it :)
It has a slanted grain, almost like corduroy, and has some weight to it.

Your skirt looks great! I’m starting this one now, and I see what you mean about the instructions. I already have questions. For one, what is going on with pattern piece number 4 (back right side) and the two cut/seam lines (seam number 3) for the side seam? Also, I’m 5’1" and always have to shorten patterns – but there are no shorten/lengthen lines on this pattern – did you change the length of yours?
