Burda Style For people who sew
Description
My sewing shop was having a sale on satin and so I began thinking what i could make in satin.. Then I realised I’d bought this pattern and never made it, and I also had a friends 21st coming up! I finished it just in time and am quite happy with it. I would like to make a more casual one, but only when summer is closer.
I’d always wondered if red-heads could wear red.. Nicole Kidman in Moulin Rouge pulled it off and the cheap satin encouraged me to give it a go.
Material Notes
Satin, with stretch-cotton sateen lining.
I need to add invisible snaps, which is why the dress isn’t properly aligned for the photos.

Super cute! Redheads totally can wear red, nyeeer to all those naysayers! I’ve had that pattern in my ‘should I buy it?’ collection for some time and your rendition makes me want to buy it far more than those pictured on the pattern envelope!
