I really wanted to try a skirt, and this skirt has not been made too many times, so i wanted to add my version to the list.
I really do love it, i am a lover of skirts that sit on the waist (though 5 few years ago it would have made me shriek!)
It fell down off my waist in some pics..
The instructions for this, in my opinion, need alot of improvement. There is little direction in how to do the pleats and when to hem – the pictures say more than the words! I’ll help anyone needing it :)
Not sure, it has a slanted grain, almost like corduroy, and has some weight to it.
(tried a thicker material as we're moving into winter, but today's so hot you wouldn't know it! lovin it)
Button, Invis Zip, Checked cotton,
Burdastyle, again, for the pattern :)
My boyfriend, again, for taking pics!
I had taken them last night, but hated the lighting, so we did it in the yard the next day.. grass + heels! gosh why? eh. done :)

Your skirt looks great! I’m starting this one now, and I see what you mean about the instructions. I already have questions. For one, what is going on with pattern piece number 4 (back right side) and the two cut/seam lines (seam number 3) for the side seam? Also, I’m 5’1" and always have to shorten patterns – but there are no shorten/lengthen lines on this pattern – did you change the length of yours?
