As a beginner, i didn’t think i would make a coat for years, but i just couldn’t let winter pass me by without trying!
It’s such a warm coat, and the instructions were quite straightforward – there were just many steps. It didn’t take me that long to make, except i kept putting off lining it.
The front doesn’t stay closed completely cause i didn’t add the second snap before the pics
I bought the pattern online as there was a sale, and altered the sleeves to make them more winter-suitable.
FIRST TIME I LINED ANYTHING = YAY!
I am so proud of my coat! Lining makes things look quite professional. I will take a picture of the inside to show off how neat it is :D
2m of a wool blend? Lining. Snaps.

Oh, it’s fabulous! And the fabric looks like tweed (my favourite) but I a can’t tell from the photos. All in all – a great job!

Oh, it is great! And I prefer your sleeves to the ones suggested in the pattern! Perfect for winter. I still didn’t make a jacket (argh), but at the moment I don’t even want to imagine wearing one because today it is hot outside. But when I finally do it I’ll line it, so I can be proud of it (hopefully) as you are : )
