My take on the Jane sleep set. I found this awesome cotton bedsheet at Goodwill recently and the print just looked like something my good friend would love. The material was actually really soft and fairly lightweight, which proved great for this pattern. I made some changes to the pattern, finishing the seams with a zigzig stitch and pinking shears and I also created a casing for the elastic instead of just catching the elastic in a zigzag stitch, as the instructions tell you to do. I also put in my first adjustable strap pieces! Because my friend lives across the country, I didn’t want to guess at the strap length.
Overall, this was an easy pattern to pull together but the shorts are really short! Granted, I lengthened the shirt a bit, so it turned out that the top almost reaches over the shorts when my friend wears them.

weird – the computer must have glitched and not linked the project like I told it to! It’s a burdastyle pattern, available here, called Jane!
