A follow up to my hankie dress: a blouse! It’s a loose, pullover-style made with 8 different vintage hankies in the same aqua/pink colorway. I used Simplicity’s Built By Wendy pattern #3835 (out of print I believe). I simply pieced together hankies using the pattern pieces as a guide and cut off the extra bits. Vintage rayon seam binding for the tie at the neckline.

Thanks! I’ve been collecting them for years, from flea markets, family, eBay and so forth. They really aren’t hard to find!

…Very creative way to use vintage hankies. …very cute blouse. Are you sure the pattern is out of print? I guess it would be easy to modify a similar pattern to get the same look.

Thanks! Yes, I’m sure it is out of print but you may be able to find it on eBay. Also, it’s a very basic pattern: pullover-style blouse with elasticized neck and raglan sleeves. I’m sure there are comparable patterns out there.
