Oh, you make bobbin lace! I’m learning. My grandma makes bobbin lace, her grandma did and I want to carry on with the tradition. :-) This is a lovely way to use it.

Thanks. You can see more of the process on the photos in my blog: http://bluejulesews.blogspot.com/2009/11/last-day-of-my-giveaway.html. That’s a different item, but the lace is made the same way, only you then have to turn it into 3D. ;-) I’ll start selling these on Etsy in January.
