Description

I made a Dirndl using 100% cotton fabrics, the main fabric being a John Lewis duvet cover I bought at Oxfam. The dirndl took me 3 days to complete. I stuck mainly to the Burda pattern, adding piping to the princess seams and changing the trim slightly.
I used the Burda young 7057 pattern for this dress.

    Lovely.

Do people actually wear these clothes/costumes still in every day life? Or just for National events?

Such a lovely dirndl! I am working on my own version of this pattern at the moment, and I hope it will be as cute as yours!
