Description

This is a skirt done for my 18 mo daughter for the 4th of July. It is based on an ehow project. I scaled down to fit and made modifications to make it look a little western. I like the outcome. I had problems with the elastic casing but it looks very sassy on her! I made my squares about 22" I would have done about 25" if I had it to do over. The pictures are not great could not get rid of the shadowing. This variation has a larger and smaller amount of the circle cut out of the middle and the larger cut out sewn right on top of the smaller with raw edges (I really liked the look) on the gather. I gathered both layers before sewing them to each other. For a learning piece I think it turned out great. I added the flower my daughter made yesterday and I think it will be staying.
