What Happened To...
I made this handbag for a friend of mine’s mother to wear for a wedding. I realize now it’s a little casual for a formal affair, but I just loved how it turned out and it warmed my heart to see how excited she was when I showed her the completed project.
The pattern is my own although it is a simple design and I’m pretty sure I copied it from somewhere. I have to say, this is only my second time making a handbag and this one turned out SO much better than my first try. I’m really happy with the finnished product :)
The center fabric was from a dress I bought at a thrift store (for a dollar!) and the lining was what was left over from fabric I had used a few years ago to make a shirt. Everything else was found while rummaging through the clearance section at good ole JoAnne Fabrics :D
