i started with a silk/cotton blend. it was a really bright white, so i tea-dyed it. then, i bought some black Dye-Na-Flow silk textile paint online. the paint was more watery than i expected it to be, but it was easy to paint on with a brush. i painted a bunch of dashes onto the fabric, and this is the result!

Wow, this is great. The painting must have taken you quite a while, but the result was well worth it. You’ve made some beautiful fabric!
