Burda Style For people who sew
Description
Recently I’m working with zippers, and made brooches from them. I googled zipper jewellery and found an inspiring artist who makes beautiful things-Kate Cusack. So I made a flower brooch and attached it to a belt. I rolled the zipper using glue and hand sewed it. I have some problems with finding suitable width of elastic band, finally I sewed two of them [3 cm and 5 cm] to achieve 7 cm width. Closure -black hook and eye. All is hand made. Enjoy!;)

I really love you zip brooches, I’ve been trying to do some stuff with zip lately and I really admire what you came up with.. I hope I’ll get to some good result these days!
