Burda Style For people who sew

I used the tutorial on http://www.dana-made-it.com/ for inspiration and guidance for this circle skirt. I also dyed the elastic. I liked the pink original fabric (Which I picked up for 25 cents at a rummage sale) but couldn’t see myself actually wearing it during the winter. And since the fabric is wool I wasn’t going to wear it during the summer either. I happened to have this purple dye (from the same rummage sale) and decided it was time to get to work on with it. :) I am really happy with the way it turned out and will definitely be dying more 3" elastic in my future.
