This light cotton dress is the second dress I made, based on an old ‘Burda international’ pattern from januari 1995. The bustline in the original pattern made my boobs look sad so I had to change it :-). What I like about the dress is de pointshape of the bodice in the front. Not so clear in my pictures but you can see it on the pattern.
The dressform isn’t my size, the dress don’t fit her well. ;-)
The fabric came from the stash of my mother in law and the dots and flowers are woven, not printed.
The lining is a light batist, thats why I made french seams.
Plan a weekend getaway in these sweater dresses and furry accessories.
