I bought some nice blue, flowery fabric from Leeds Market (100% cotton :) and decided to try the second variation of a dress pattern I had used and liked (McCalls 6331). The bodice pattern was a little tricky, I did not enjoy curved seams! And it went a little wrong more than once but when I finally got it it turned out ok. I’m also thinking that I could use this bodice for a mermaid costume I want to make for halloween!
The colour in the photos in misleading due to bad light but it’s blue.
100% Cotton, £4 a meter, about 2.5 metres used
