I was still in my retro phase (wait, I don’t think I’ve ever left…), but I wanted to make something a bit different this time, after all these circle-skirted dresses.
I completely fell in love with this fabric when I saw it (i.e. the dress was supposed to be for my sister, but I kept it for myself. That’s why the bust is kinda tight…), and I decided I wanted a collared dress.
I stumbled upon this pattern in Burda, a halter neck dress with a cool jacket-like collar (don’t really know what to call it, but surely it has a name..): https://encrypted-tbn3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRyt4qMMKov3xmZcXLU9ThfLxB_tb466v_aUrsoOS9SDRnvjYfS5A
It wasn’t too hard, except for the neckline that was tricky, and not too clear from the instructions. It was my 1st attempt at something like this. Or at least, 1st successful attempt..
And that’s about it.
The cool photos were taken by my photographer friends: Daniel Grossman and Noam Gilboa.
Styling and makeup were me.
Floral cotton blend.
