The Bernina Halloween contest inspired me to post this picture but it is from 2007. A friend was inspired to make the “Queen of Swords” character from a video game come to life. She had trouble picturing how to make the fantastic weapons so was going to go without. Another friend and I with access to a garage, sandpaper, $20 of pink closed cell insulation, white glue, silver spray paint and fancy wood finish appliques.
Oh yeah I also made the whole outfit I’m wearing modified from a Butterick pattern that I’ll look up.
swords – Insulation, glue, spray paint, wood trim
