Description
All my children wanted to be characters from the new “Alice in Wonderland”. This will be my littlest daughters costume for halloween. She wanted to be the smallest Alice from the movie. This is the little dress from the tea party scene that the Hatter makes for Alice (LOVE IT)! Out of 5 kids, I’ve got two more outfits to go, time is running out " wouldn’t want to be late you know". Must keep sewing.Hope you like it!
oh yah made the little hat too, but it is for our MAD doggy!

What a perfect Alice! I’m planning to be Alice as well – I can only hope that I can live up to your daughter’s fantastic portrayal!
Also, I was laughing because my dog is going to be the Mad Hatter as well! She HATES her top hat!

Wow, your daughter looks just beautiful in her new dress. I have not sean the film yet, but they must have amazing costumes… Well done ;O) PS: I love also the hat of your dog. The hat suits it very well. How did you made the hat keep its shape?

I used a flexable sheet of plastic for the cylinder shape and foam board for the top and covered it with fabric. My other daughter is going to be the Mad Hatter too,and I made her hat out of chicken wire and paper mache. hopefully I’ll get it posted soon.

Wow, what an endeavour for Halloween! What a lucky little girl to have such a nice dress for her costume. I haven’t seen the movie yet, but I love the idea of wrapping ribbon around the bodice of the dress. What a neat effect!
