Description

Just a half-circle skirt, shaped like half a donut with a center back seam. Waistline (navel, for me) the only measurement required. The pink I wear for work; the brocade for parties; but I run a bit dressy. The pink falls a bit full in the front because I measured it wrong.

the instructions I used were a combination of this blog post:
http://andreatung.blogspot.com/2009/07/circle-skirts-part-2.html

and the comment from LaBellaDonna on this thread:
http://www.dressaday.com/2008/05/gathering-my-thoughts.html

Material Notes

brocade (100% polyester) & embroidered microsuede (100% polyester). Both were pretty friendly to work with—-I used a microtex needle for the microsuede.

Thank you! A great project for the rank beginner, as nearly guaranteed to turn out wearable.
