Layers of organza on a sweet strapless dress.
Butterick pattern 5457 I made the skirt fuller and I underlined and boned the bodice. Bought all the fabric at Joanne's Fabric and Crafts Store. Cream organza with cracked ice and silver sequins over gold organza layered over cream crepe back satin and lined in the same. It took me approximately 4 days. Rhinestone trim sewn by hand on the waist band

The fit is perfect, the effect of the gold underskirt is subtle – gorgeous! She’s a lucky girl! This would also make a lovely quirky wedding dress :-)
