I had this mohair miniskirt since I was a student. As it was a very expensive designer skirt, I allways kept it,…When my daughter discovered it she loved the fabric and she wanted me to make a poncho with it.
Unfortunatly the skirt was to small. So we made a compromise, and I turned it into a vest. I used a Burda magazine patternfor a childrens vest. I changed the shoulders to create a smal “kimono” sleeve. I also had a leftover of similar yellow wool to make pompons. My daughter is very happy with the result.
