Description

I cheated on this one. I had a pair of genie pants that I had already slashed for another project, so despite having decided I liked them, I couldn’t wear them anymore. So I chopped off the bottom, sewed the legs together and that’s it. Clearly I haven’t finished the hem yet but I thought I’d post the pics anyway, I trust that burdastylers have the imagination to see the finished product! Ooh, and they look really good with the ‘zzzzzz’ top I made the same day.

    It looks like I should check out that movie. I think I will be wearing them a lot when the weather heats up again. I really like the novelty of knowing the skirt was once pants, thanks for the compliments ladies.

    i love it. it looks like the skirt zooey deschanel wears in 500 days of summer while she’s riding a bike. its darling, i would wear it constantly if it were my project. :)
