Added Oct 22, 2008

Norman, Oklahoma...

This is a gypsy costume made for visiting the Texas Renaissance Festival. It was sewn with pre-beaded material, which i will never, ever use again.
The sleeves are strips of cotton gauze sewn together at the cuff and shoulder, and buttoned together just below the shoulder.

Material Notes

Bodice: pre-beaded material, bargin velvet and gold, tightly woven lining, metal boning and grommets.
Shirt: cotton gauze and buttons.
Skirt: pre-beaded material, bargin velvet and gold.
Under skirt: muslin.

That bustier looks so good on you! And vice versa – you look beautiful in the bustier. The costume really suits you.
