My inspiration: mini skirt BOY by BAND OF OUTSIDERS that was worn by Gwyneth Paltrow in Glee! It is my RTW project for PatternReview.com contest. It is an easy project- the pattern I added is sizes 34-38-42 ( refer to Burda measuring size chart for reference) It is not yet a commercial quality pattern, but it is good enough to use. Basically, it is a result of my first steps exploring my pattern drafting software.

Hi Ralf, thank you so much, actually they are both flaps and not pockets at all ( I am such a cheat LOL), The lower one made the skirt stick out at the back when it was a pocket, so I attached it at the top corners only for the look.

Nice project- I like the pockets a lot -- few years back I got the ‘Just Pockets’ by Lois Erickson (she passed but her patterns should available from Diane Erickson) for two months that’s all I did;)

I’d love to do just that!!!! pockets, pockets pockets. This fabric is too think to play with it too much, but the skirt is not bad, and I might do a repeat in a thinner fabric with some welt pockets in the flaps
