I rescued my husbands favorite tshirts. The tshirts were mistakenly placed by him on our “goodwill pile” after a few years of service. Anyway, Old Elana pattern came to the rescue. My boys love these skullcaps. I lined the caps with the same tshirt fabric so they are very confy and warm. What I love about using tshirts is that they are warm but not so hot for mild winters here in florida.

If you were selling these, they would be gone in a flash!. Just well done & so current. The boys must be very happy & also very well mannered to allow mama time to sew!

Thank you, thank you. They do allow Mama time to sew a little bit most days. I love to sew and sometimes I can do it by recycling or redoing what we already own. Thats always a plus.

Hi jenna, I actually used the Elana pattern which I downloaded from Burdastyle. For the kids I used the small size. Its really a fun pattern and well worth the $3.00 (even though when I downloaded it it was free). I have made caps for me, my boys and just abt anyone. Good pattern to use up left over fleece or recycle sweaters too. Can you tell, I love this pattern. Happy sewing. Nenasew.
