Burda Style For people who sew
Description
I found the shiny black fabric in a remnants basket. It’s pretty soft on the inside and smooth shiny on the outside. It was juuuust enough to fit a sleeveless straight top, with the more usual straight front dart changed to a curved dart (saved a bit of fabric width). The cotton vichy-check version was a test to see how the dart sits.

Navy vichy cotton for testrun and black material with a high portion of something that didn't grow in nature
