I delved into Mum’s stash of fabric and old patterns to create this top. As I’m an irregular size (specifically, my top half is around a size 10 while my hips hover around the 14 mark), I added about a 1/4 inch to the lower part of the pattern (both front and back). It worked out perfectly and I’ll be looking forward to wearing this to work :-) It was super easy and I finished it in one afternoon.
The fabric is a polyester blend and is a cross between blue and gun metal grey. Gun metal blue perhaps?
I’ve included a close up shot of the fabric to give a better idea of the colour and texture.
The pattern is Style #3842.
