I have been collecting vintage ties for over a decade. The patterns are funky psychedelic and most definitely unique. I reinforce the ties with webbing and recycled leather ends to ensure strength. I also add buckles to adjust desired lengths.
vintage ties or any material you really like, 2 inch webbing, 2 buckles, leather ends, awl and exacto for hole and slit in leather, bobbin thread to match webbing, topstitch thread to match material

Brilliant! These are great. Do you sell them somewhere?

I had a company named be planted. with my friend Sara. I used to sell them on etsy and indie craft fairs. I will be selling them again on etsy under the name elimaem in the next few months. I will definitely keep you posted. If you would like I could also just work something out with you before that time. You have the option to custom your strap with fabrics you like too. Thank-you much for the enthusiasm! I appreciate…
