This Burda pattern from February 2009 (#128) was the perfect choice for my first guipure lace project. I attended a Susan Khalje couture workshop recently and worked on this pencil skirt as my main project. It is a great basic pencil skirt pattern with a raised waist, four darts and no back vent. The only thing I would change is to move the zipper from the side seam to the center back.
