Really liking the wooden ruler growth chart’s for the home I saw at the local farmer’s market, I decided to make one from a clean cotton drop cloth (because I had that, and didn’t have any lumber). Some quick hemming on the eges and pockets for the dowelling and I was ready to stencil and hang! I made the tags from paper and plan to make permanent fabric ones once I find the material I want to use.

I like this idea! It enables you to keep the chart forever. When you mark the heights on the door frame you will eventually paint over it or move and have to leave it behind.
